Options for Replacing All of My Teeth

Choices for Replacing My Entire Set of Teeth
All candidates can get different teeth replacements
Full mouth extractions may be required for a variety of reasons, including severe tooth loss due to infection, decay, gum disease, trauma, bone loss, or abscess. Patients who have lost a significant number of teeth may benefit from complete tooth replacement treatments, such as full dentures.
Our team will evaluate each patient's unique situation, taking into account factors like lifestyle, diet, jawbone health, and budget, to determine the best treatment option. We may recommend a full-mouth extraction to prepare patients for complete dentures, ensuring they receive the most effective and personalized care possible.
“Which option is right for any particular patient depends on several factors, such as lifestyle choices, diet, the extent of jawbone deterioration, and budget.”
Replace Teeth with Complete Dentures
“There are two types of complete dentures, immediate and conventional.”
Options Supported by Implants
In addition to traditional dentures, there are implant-supported options available for replacing missing teeth. These implant-supported full bridges or dentures not only look and function like natural teeth but are also durable and long-lasting. They provide a more comfortable and stable fit compared to conventional dentures, allowing patients to enjoy a more natural biting and chewing experience.
The dental implant process involves surgically placing a titanium steel screw into the gum line and fusing it to the jawbone. Once the implant has fully fused, temporary healing caps and connecting devices are used to attach multiple crowns to the implants, creating a solid foundation for the new bridge or denture. Finally, the full bridge or denture is created and attached to small metal posts, known as abutments.
“In addition to looking and functioning like natural teeth, implant-supported full bridges or dentures are also long-lasting.”
Additional Options for Full Teeth Replacement
Patients have several options for replacing missing teeth, including complete dentures, full bridges, and dental implants. Another option is the All-on-4® dental implant treatment, which uses four implants to support a full-arch lower denture. In some cases, up to six implants may be needed for an upper denture.
The treatment involves placing two implants at the front of the arch where the front teeth used to be, followed by placing the remaining implants on the sides at a 45° angle towards the back of the mouth. The overdenture then attaches to the implants using special attachments on the fitting surface. To learn more about our available treatments, please contact us.
